Remembering 9/11

Jason Clouse, a local 598 member, reflects on the 9/11 attacks and its aftermath in our lives.

Local 598 members answered the call when the NYC needed trucks after 9/11. The membership volunteered to work over 6 minutes at the end of a shift and GM donated all the material to build 2 trucks. Plant leadership (Union and management) delivered them in person. This commercial was shown only one time at the Super Bowl that January. Members were all given a very copy of the ad.
